One of my “assignments” from the Lord is to help connect the dots. When the church “building” & corresponding sign out front are removed it is amazing how quickly those from different legacies can connect and work together under Jesus’ banner. These connections are both necessary and paramount. Jesus prayed that we would all be one. Ecclesiastes teaches us that a cord of 3 strands is not quickly torn apart. We need to foster working relationships within regions to add strength to what God is doing (His directive – not mine…). To that end this men’s retreat will be a tool for relationship building. Those outside of the southeast region are invited to participate as well and hopefully take the principle back to your region for development! (We hope to have a winter Family retreat in appropriate facilities to include the ladies – it’s just that the cabin doesn’t lend itself to the feminine too readily!) This retreat targets simple church planters / practitioners / leaders. NO COST for the retreat however there will be a $20.00 per head food cost (all meals will be provided). We will have lodging at the cabin / dining hall, tent camping and some RV space available (motels available within 10 miles for the squeamish). Please RSVP! (and send $20!).
